Cloud computing Services

The continual advancements in cloud computing have provided many options for securing, storing and accessing data that can improve uptime performance, reduce cost and increase efficiency. Cloud computing gives us many alternatives to choose from to handle various IT functions, when just a few short years ago the only option was to upgrade your existing on premises IT network.

Today’s private cloud networks offer organizations the ability to predict expenses and reduce technology headaches by simply purchasing the right capacity from a reliable data centre. This scalability allows companies to gear up or down as their demand for services varies.

The internet has made computing into a service that is much like electric utilities offer, providing valuable benefits to the consumer. As outlined in Nicholas Carr’s book, The Big Switch, before Thomas Edison and public electric companies, businesses, especially manufacturing companies, had to generate their own power. When electric companies came into existence, organizations could purchase power from other sources. This is the same way entities had to produce their own computing power before the Cloud. Now, powered by the connectivity of the World Wide Web, organizations can easily purchase computing power from someone else’s hardware and software networks. This new business model of hosting your data on another’s network means built-in reliability and redundancy.

Every day more and more services such as software, storage and applications are available through the cloud and can be accessed remotely over the internet. When advantageous, BMIT will blend these pay-as-you-go services as part of a comprehensive strategy to enhance your IT function, called Software as a Service (SaaS).

IT Needs Assessment.

With respect to technology, a needs assessment is an evaluation of the technical tasks and functions an organization must be capable of performing (that it currently isn't), or of the needs that technology must be able to meet (that are not currently being met). A true needs assessment requires that all possible needs be identified. Determining whether they are realistic, necessary and affordable comes at a later point in the planning process. The assessment must align with the organizations goals and for IT plan. For patient engagement, the organization must include the patients as part of this process.

Disaster Recovery planning

A Disaster Recovery planning consists of the policies and procedures that a given entity – in your case, your business – will follow when IT services are disrupted. This could happen because of a natural disaster, or as a result of technological failure or human factors such as sabotage or terrorism. The basic idea is to restore the affected business processes as quickly as possible, whether by bringing disrupted services back online or by switching to a contingency system.

Network services.

Change is the Key Driver for new technology acquisition & adoption in organizations. Today, Network & Communication Infrastructure is the foundation platform for IT & business success – the ability to connect Applications with Employees, Customers & Partners quickly & efficiently is the need of the hour.
